Although Moiwa is famous for its uncrowded slopes and deep dry powder snow it has recently been thrown into the spotlight thanks to its purchase by development group Zephyr (2007). Niseko Moiwa is the first resort to be developed to a master plan in Hokkaido. Currently the first stage has included the renovation and sale of the Niseko Moiwa Resort Towers.

Kanro no mori is the neighbouring hotel to Niseko Moiwa, consisting of restaurants, bars, live music and one of the area’s most popular onsen.
